Joshua Fitzgerald, MD

Joshua Fitzgerald, MD has been serving the Nevada Psychiatric Association for several years. Dr. Fitzgerald, a former NPA President, currently serves as the Federal Legislative Representative and the Co-Chair of the Community Outreach Committee. By training, he is a dual-board certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and General Psychiatrist who is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med). Dr. Fitzgerald completed his Doctor of Medicine at UNR Med (formerly UNSOM) followed by Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at UNR Med prior to joining the faculty. Dr. Fitzgerald has interests and expertise in Early/First Episode Psychosis, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Pediatric Consult-Liaison Psychiatry, and psychiatric education.
